Frequently asked questions and their answers about apps PhraseBox.

If you have any questions related to the following:

If your application has stalled at "Starting download", please use the following troubleshooting steps to help complete your download:

  1. Visit Menu > Settings > Applications > Manage applications
  2. Tab over to "All"
  3. Select the Google Play Store app, and then tap "Clear data" and "Clear cache;" then, select Download manager and tap "Clear data" and "Clear cache".

If a download you requested from the Google Play website never started on your device, please try the following troubleshooting steps:

  • Your device must be connected to a wireless or a cellular network - please don’t use USB or any other physical connections (contact your mobile service provider if you aren't connected).
  • Try the download with both wireless and cellular network connections
  • Make sure your device is logged into Google Talk by following these steps:
    1. Go to your phone’s app launcher, and press the Talk app.
    2. If you’re already signed into Talk, press Menu, and then touch Sign out.
    3. Launch Talk again to sign in.
  • Ensure that your device has at least 30 megabytes of space available for installation. If necessary, try uninstalling some existing applications.
  • Try requesting the download again using the Google Play app from your device.

If you receive a "Download unsuccessful" message when attempting to download an app, try the following troubleshooting steps to resolve the issue:

  • For paid applications, confirm your credit card information is up to date by signing in to your Google Wallet account.
  • Clear the cache of the Google Play Store app (visit Settings > Applications > Clear cache).
  • Restart your phone, then try downloading the app again.
  • Wait 10 minutes, and try your download again.
  • Confirm there is connectivity to either a wireless or cellular network on your device, and contact your mobile service provider if you aren't connected.
  • Ensure there’s enough space on your phone or tablet for the app to install.

  • Payment declined
  • You need to update your payment information
  • Use a different, valid payment method

Uninstall the app. To make this:

  1. Navigate to Menu > Settings > Applications > Manage applications
  2. Scroll through the list of apps to find the one you’d like to uninstall.
  3. Tap on the app you’d like to uninstall.
  4. Tap "Uninstall."

Install the app PhraseBox from Google Play again without additional charge.

  • There’s no Internet connection. Your device must be connected to a wireless or a cellular network.
  • Not enough free space. Ensure that your device has at least 30 megabytes of space available for downloading of one language packet. If necessary, try to uninstall some existing applications.
  • Probably, the server is not available at the moment. Try to download language packets later.
  • Run PhraseBox PRO.
  • In menu "Languages" find the language you need.
  • Long press "Delete" next to the name of language that you want to delete.
  • Confirm that you really want to delete the language packet.
  • Volume level is too low. Turn the volume up.
  • Probably, your device is in silent mode. Turn silent mode off.
  • Probably, in app PhraseBox PRO language packet file is damaged. Delete language packet file and download it again. To make this:
    • Run PhraseBox PRO
    • In menu "Languages" find the language you need
    • Long press "Delete" next to the name of language that you want to delete
    • Confirm that you really want to delete the language packet
    • Tap "Download" to download the language packet again

If there’s no result – try the following:

  • Uninstall the app. To make this:
    1. Navigate to Menu > Settings > Applications > Manage applications
    2. Scroll through the list of apps to find the one you’d like to uninstall.
    3. Tap on the app you’d like to uninstall.
    4. Tap "Uninstall."
  • Install the app PhraseBox from Google Play again without additional charge.

  • Make sure that you have downloaded the full version but not the Demo version.
  • Please look at the icon of the app. If it is the full version it will not have the word "Demo" on it.
  • If you have already bought the full version of PhraseBox but can’t find this app on your device, visit Google Play and download the full version of PhraseBox again without additional charge.

All of your apps you have bought earlier are tied to your Google account. You can install them an unlimited amount of times on any device.

Using the same account on Google Play, you can download all apps you have purchased earlier on a new device without additional charge.

You need Internet connection only to download PhraseBox from Google Play and also to download the necessary language packets in PhraseBox PRO. For all apps PhraseBox no Internet connection is required! All apps PhraseBox work offline.
